Mustafabad, New Delhi. India’s capital is currently dealing with aftermath of one of the most gruesome communal violence in decades that has left 45 dead and more than 200 injured.
The clashes were the result of months of growing communal tensions as the Modi government pursued a controversial social agenda long sought by the BJP, designed to undermine India’s secular traditions and advance the BJP’s goal of promoting a society more reflective of its Hindu majority.
